Symmetry

Description

Functions for controlling symmetry.

When signal type DC, Noise or Arbitrary is active, setting symmetry is not available.

By default the symmetry is set to: 0.5 (50%).

Function Documentation

double GenGetSymmetryMin ( TpDeviceHandle_t  hDevice)

Get minimum signal symmetry.

Parameters
hDeviceA device handle.
Returns
Minimum signal symmetry, 0 to 1.
Since
0.4.3
double GenGetSymmetryMax ( TpDeviceHandle_t  hDevice)

Get maximum signal symmetry.

Parameters
hDeviceA device handle.
Returns
Maximum signal symmetry, 0 to 1.
Since
0.4.3
double GenGetSymmetry ( TpDeviceHandle_t  hDevice)

Get signal symmetry.

Parameters
hDeviceA device handle.
Returns
Signal symmetry, 0 to 1.
Since
0.4.0
double GenSetSymmetry ( TpDeviceHandle_t  hDevice,
double  dSymmetry
)

Set signal symmetry.

Parameters
hDeviceA device handle.
dSymmetrySignal symmetry, 0 to 1.
Returns
Signal symmetry, 0 to 1.
Remarks
When the generator is active, changing the symmetry will shortly interrupt the output signal.
Since
0.4.0
